Action Event - Project Process
Guidelines:
Process:
- Video should be 1:00-2:00 in length
- Use only natural sound
- Think of your opening shot (get viewers attention)
- Think of your ending shot (what viewers will remember)
- Remember to use sequences in your video and make it naturally move from shot to shot
Process:
- Choose a topic - is it visual? does it have sound?
- Write a project proposal / shot sheet (must conference with teachers and hand in)
- Set up your shoot - plan day / time to get video (get permission if needed)
- Shoot your video
- Import video into a folder on your desktop
- Log video (must do before editing, must turn in) LOG SHEET
- Organize shots into a "script" (plan out which shots you will use and in what order)
- Import video into Pinnacle, create a collection
- Start editing
- "Clean" up your edits, tighten up edits - are shots jumpy at the start or end? are shots too long?
- Add dissolves, transitions IF NEEDED
- Ask a classmate AND teacher to review video
- Export video to correct folder (wmv file type)
