class projects
Below you will find a list of five video projects that you will complete in this class. They will be done in order and in a set time frame. You will not be able to work with the same partner two projects in a row. You must work in pairs. You are welcome to take on projects solo if you choose.
- Before each project, fill out a proposal/shot sheet and get your project approved by Mrs. McCaw or Mr. Grile.
- Follow the same steps you did in putting clips onto the computer, renaming clips, etc.
- In the advanced class, you will export your first draft, hear critiques and then turn in a final.
- You will be asked to critique your classmates' videos to help them better their final projects.
green screen project
From weather reports to far away places, you can create just about any kind of video using a green screen. With a green screen, you only shoot the people in your video and inset the pictures or video of their background later. Check out the "Video Examples" link to see a few them or look them up in the H Drive.
In this class, you will use the Green Screen to create some sort of commercial or short movie/skit. The content is entirely up to you.

You might explain what's on a website or how a product works. It's up to you! Be sure to use the W/M/T shooting techniques to create visual interest.
